At Fluency Easy, we are committed to delivering a smooth and fair experience for both students and tutors. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.
1. General Refund Terms
1.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are issued only under specific circumstances as detailed below. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our support team at support@fluencyeasy.com.
1.2 Time Frame
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the missed or canceled session, or the issue that caused the request.
2. Student-Initiated Refunds
2.1 Cancelled Sessions
- If a student cancels a session at least 12 hours before the scheduled start, they are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
- If the cancellation occurs within 12 hours, no refund is issued unless there are exceptional circumstances.
2.2 No-Show by Student
If a student fails to attend a session without prior notice, the session is considered completed and is non-refundable.
2.3 Technical Issues
If a session is disrupted due to platform-related technical problems, we will offer a reschedule or a full refund, based on the issue’s severity.
3. Tutor-Initiated Refunds
3.1 Tutor No-Show
If a tutor does not attend a scheduled session and does not inform the student or support team in advance, the student is eligible for a full refund or rescheduling.
3.2 Poor Session Quality
If a session does not meet minimum quality standards due to the tutor’s conduct, content, or preparedness, students may request a review for partial or full refund.
4. Subscription Refunds (if applicable)
If you purchase a monthly subscription or lesson package:
- Unused lessons may be refunded upon request.
- Used or partially used packages will be prorated and the unused portion refunded.
- No refunds will be issued for subscriptions after 14 days from purchase unless required by law.
5. Dispute Resolution
We encourage students and tutors to resolve minor issues directly. However, for unresolved matters:
- Email us at support@fluencyeasy.com with session ID and issue details.
- Our support team will investigate and provide a decision within 3–5 business days.
- Fluency Easy’s decision on refunds is final.
6. Refund Method
Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
